The following table includes list of supported RDP file settings that you can use with the Windows and HTML clients. An 'x' in the platform column indicates that the setting is supported. However, this list is not a complete list of supported settings for the Windows and HTML5 clients. We'll continue to update this table to include more supported RDP settings for the Windows and HTML5 clients as well as the macOS, iOS, and Android clients.

- 2016-1-13 I doubt this a 'problem' with the mac as such nor does it have anything to do with Remote Desktop for Mac which is an entirely different product and for which this forum is for. Questions about RDC for Mac should be put on the relevant Microsoft forum rather than here.
- I don't think you can copy files (documents, images, etc); I tend to save those in a fileshare they can both access. Or they can create a folder redirection - in MS RDP on the Mac, edit the Remote Desktop settings for the PC, click on Redirection then add a new link to ther Desktop or whichever folder they wish.

2020-3-28 I installed Microsoft's Remote Desktop and connected to a PC. How can I share files between my Mac and PC? When I use RDP on Windows, I can simply add a file to the clipboard and paste it inside the RDP window. The same thing doesn't seem to work in the mac version of RDP. Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop client from the Mac App Store. Set up your PC to accept remote connections. (If you skip this step, you can't connect to your PC.) Add a Remote Desktop connection or a remote resource. You use a connection to connect directly to a Windows PC and a remote. Transfer a.pst file from Windows to Mac. However, you can create a new Outlook Data File (.pst) in Microsoft Outlook for Windows 2003 or later, and then import items from the older file into the new file. You can then import the new.pst file into Outlook for Mac. For more information about how to create.pst files and importing items, see.
